Someone mentioned that only PvE-based titles (and not PvP-based) counted towards one of your 5, which I find absolutely no evidence of anywhere. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Possibly because the PvP ones (Champion, Hero, Gladiator) take a long time to fill? But I don't see why they wouldn't...

Any maxed title counts toward Kind of a Big Deal. The person(s) who said this probably havn't maxed any PvP-based titles on their accounts.

PvP ones are hard to Max (Noones maxed the Hero titles, I haven't seen any Terrifying Glads but I'm sure theres 1-2 of them, and Champion is limited to the top 10% of guilds in the game...) so its hard to tell.

CAN you max the PvP titles?

Skills Hunter doesn't max even when you get every elite in the game, maybe the PvP ones do the same?

Fame apparently maxes at rank 15, so we're still a few years away. Progress on Champion is glacial under the current tournament structure. No idea how many ranks Gladiator has but I'm sure it's comparable.

The only titles that appear maxable right now are exploration (both), mission completion (both), survivor, and drinking. Even if PvP titles were involved you'd need multiple PvE titles to get KoaBD...so it really is a PvE title.

pvp titles count on your whole account because most people make and delete a pvp character within a day. It would be impossible to get those titles on one character.

In response to ensign, the following titles are maxable, and here is the requirement:

Incorrigable Ale-Hound
10,000 minutes drunk

Grandmaster (region) Cartographer
100% explored (technically there is 103% of a map to explore, the extra 3% is for error)

Protector of (region)
All missions completed with full bonuses.

Grandmaster Treasure Hunter
10,000 chests opened (with keys costing 600 gold or more)

Source of Wisdom
10,000 items identified (found with keys costing 600 gold or more)

Legendary Survivor
1,337,500 Experience gained without dying (you may die after gaining this title and you will still have it)

Kind of a Big Deal
5 Titles maxed out.

The following titles have an unknown or unreported maximum. Listing the highest requirements:

Terrifying Gladiator (level 5)
280 win streaks of 10 wins

Emperor's Hero (level 13)
36,000 Fame (at the rate each rank increases, it is assumed that rank 14 will be around 50K fame and rank 15 will be around 70K fame.)

Savior of the Kurzicks/Luxons (level 6)
10,000,000 faction transferred

Expert Skill Hunter (level 4)
225 Elite skills captured (only 180 elite skills are available at this time)

as i know no one is r13 , if someone reach rank 15 before gw dies ...

PvP Titles WILL count towards KoaBD title when maxed, but no-one knows at what level the pvp titles actually count as "maxed".

For Hero it will most likely be at 100,000 Fame, (because all of the titles seem to stop in multiples of thousands -10,000chest/alehound etc).

For gladiator my guess is 1000 points for the same reason.

When the pvp title gets maxed it will be maxed for your entire account account, giving you 1/5 KoaBD for EACH of your characters (highly benificial if your going for the title on more than one character!)

So yes, pvp titles will count for KoaBD title track, but they are going to take much longer to earn compared to the pve ones
